I'm Gonna Get First Fucking Place For My Worst Fucking Attitude...
A long, relatively busy (I HATE YOU CAMP ROBIN HOOD!) night at the theatre. I've never met more stupid people than those that come to the movies on a rainy night. I am so thankful that tomorrow is my day off.
Things have been good the last couple days. I've been hanging out with my new friends Ashley and Jess and Jared a lot which, of course, means that Derek and Kymm are there, too. It has been a lot of fun. Although Jared was not present last night, the remaining members of the afformentioned group started filming the latest LBFilm. We are yet to have a title, but we do have a pretty good start going, as well as having a couple songs in mind for certain scenes: Chris Issak - Wicked Game (for the sex scene, obviously); Avengened Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions (not sure for what scene, but what a great song); and Vanessa Florit - Paint it Black (for the end credits.) This is a GREAT cover, although it's too bad that the quality couldn't be better. Kymm found her on Purevolume. I like the cover a lot, and I think that Paint it Black fits well in any horror-type movie. There are a couple other songs I am thinking of, but don't want to say anything yet because I am not sure if they will even fit.
I've been doing a lot of writing lately, pumping out a few scenes for any of the upcoming LBFilms we may or may not make. I've got a great suicide scene written that is kind of a take on a scene from Rules of Attraction. A great flick, and I think the scene will work well. I was talking with Shannon about it, and she really wants to do it. I figured that would work, since I imagine neither Ashley or Jess would want to get naked for a movie anyway. Plus, they aren't exactly old enough. I want to film it in B&W, up until the very last shot, which will be in color to get the full effect. You'll all see what I mean when it's filmed. I think that Shannon will be able to do it, except we will have to put make up on her tattoos on her thigh and titties. They are too colorful and not "dark" enough for the scene I have in mind. The one on her back will be ok, I think. Add cover-up to the long list of things that LBFilms has to purchase: fake guns, fake blood, matte black model paint, firecrackers, condoms, "gore"...it sure is hard running a film company.
As it was, last night a cop came by and basically asked us to "move along" while we were filming behind Conway El last night. Thankfully he was cool with it, and I think if he hadn't seen us, then we would have been cool shooting there.
It's been a lot of fun hanging out with my new crew recently. It's like having a whole extra family - despite the fact that two of them are, lol. I really like Ashley a lot - I'm glad that she is with Derek. Jess is nice, too, but it sucks when her and Kymm fight - because then Kymm gets upset and then the rest of us get blah. I don't know what it is normally like with them, but they fought the last two times that we have hung out. At least last night was cool, because they made up pretty quickly and we all filmed the movie. It was a great time. I love you guys :) I love you, too, Jared, even though you were not there. We'll put you in the movie somewhere. It's always good to have a gay emo kid in your movie somewhere.
