CHARACTER INFO:
Name: Karin
Fandom: Naruto
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Prettyboysexual. Well, as long as they're Delicious and Badtouchable... Tall, dark, and handsome plz. Straight.

Appearance:
Karin has red hair with an uneven cut, and wears [scented] lip gloss, and glasses. Her shirt is long-sleeved, purple, and shows a bit of her stomach and back. She wears short-shorts/hotpants, and though she used to wear boots that went up to her thighs, since heels are banned, she now wears flats. When she's cold enough she'll put on stockings/socks that go up to her mid-thigh.
Really, she's a walking fashion disaster (especially with her colour choices), but she still manages to strike the idea of "sexy librarian" into the minds of those that see her.

Personality:
Karin, for the most part, comes off as antisocial and bitchy unpleasant. She's got terrible mood swings, but if she's alone with hot guys certain people she tends to keep it under control. One moment, she can be talking normally, and the next someone will have to be prying her off of a bloody mess that she'll still be cussing and kicking at. Most of the time she reaches that breaking point over little to nothing, and obviously it comes without warning.
Secretly, she obsesses and plans to ravish hot guys some people, and when she's alone with them she'll stop being constantly on guard and instead try to seduce them. If caught by someone, or teased about it, she becomes very flustered to the point of hardly being able to speak and denies it. Another secret, obvious in the way she looks, but not how she acts, is that she has some very girly habits, like painting her nails or spending too much time on her hair--what if Mr. Right came along that day and she didn't look good?

ROLEPLAY:
How Your Character Got to Malaise House:
From a young age Karin showed signs of having anger problems; her fuse had always been short even when there was nothing really provoking her. Seeing someone about that became unavoidable when she had to be pried off a prisoner (she self-appointed herself as guard for her adoptive father, a man of the government who temporarily kept criminals in a separate hall) by other kids that had been alarmed by the mans screaming. There were seven separate cases over the course of her stay there that Karin almost killed a prisoner, excluding the first one.
When the head of the household was murdered when he'd been on a trip away from home, the adopted kids left, but she stayed behind (entirely too okay with being alone) to make sure the prisoners were still looked after until the doctor came and tried to tell her she had to leave. At first she denied the doctor's help, then went without trouble, but in the end, when she figured out where she was going, she got dragged kicking and screaming.

Symptoms Your Character Experiences (If Any):
Moments of extreme rageeeeee. They're often brought on by something that people without the problem may only find irritating, but instead of ignoring it she may snap and start screaming or flipping out.

Example Journal Entry:
I'd rather be dead anywhere but here.

I cant wear my heels, I had to fight with them to prove I wasn't hiding needles in my lip gloss, and I room with people. Ugh.

I'm okay with changing in front of others, but once I have to trust them with my stuff? Uh, no. I'm out, thanks.

Fucking--he had to go and die, didn't he? Now I'm stuck in a house full of nut jobs--which really isn't too different from home, but at least there I could avoid them.

If anyone wants me, I'll be in the library somewhere, avoiding you.

Example Post:
Karin kicked her feet up on the table in front of her, examining her toes instead of paying any mind to the book in her hands. It was a romance novel, but if anyone pointed that out Karin would refuse to admit she had anything to do with it. They were like a dirty little secret. like sneaking a piece of really rich chocolate cake when she on a diet. As long as no one--

"Excuse me, but could you..."

She slammed the book shut, looking at who was talking instead of pondering over the possibilities of her being able to get some toe nail polish (the sky blue was chipping off and she was starting to think it was time for something more neutral--beige, perhaps); their attention was not on her. Sighing in relief, she thumbed through until she found her page, and made a note to remember it as a call came that Lights Out would come soon. It was hard to imagine she'd been in there almost all day.

The next day, there were too many people sitting near her and she instead opted for a biography on some historical figure or another. It was hardly as exciting as the hardships of love shared together by the couple in the other book, but she dealt with it.

Previous Diagnosis
Your Roleplay Journal stalkerindenial
Your Character's Name Karin
Your Character's Fandom Naruto
Your Character's Diagnosis Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and mild Schizotypical Personality Disorder.
What you know about this disorder and why you think it fits your character
IED: Karin often gets annoyed by Suigetsu in her canon (he provokes her. really.), and will lunge across a room to attack him with little warning, and it takes a great deal to get her to stop. She has a lot of mood swings that often turn towards anger, and she's constantly tense. After she's done getting her rageee out she doesn't seem to really regret it, despite having caused the other person pain because of her impulsive act. I assume its not a big deal to her because she's a ninja, though; beating people up would be sort of normal to her--which would apply to her AU setting because she probably picked on the prisoners a lot.

SPD: Karin has the ability to sense people from very far distances, and can even distinguish if an animal is there. I wanted that ability to carry over to an AU, but obviously not as extreme. I've known a few people that can just tell when someone is in the room with them, and I figure it will be as mild as that. She mentioned that to the doctor once, and he marked down that she was falsely believing she had ESP, which would be a sign of having SPD.
Her social isolation is by choice, more than because of the disorder. People waste time, talk too much, distract her from work, and not to mention, most of them just smell annoy her. Hot guys Some of them are alright to be around, but for the most part Karin is alright to live on her own as long as she has something to do (such as look after prisoners).
Still, enough parts of the disorder apply to her that she's been marked down as having it, however mildly; she wont do much to disprove it, most likely.
