hmmm...
i think i am getting into blogging. i have finally realized how it is different from lj--atleast for me--i tend to compose posts that are like mini-snapshots of something. i think of them as anne lamott's picture frame assignments. so yeah, i like blogging for that reason--good writing practice. and a paycheck to boot.
but i don't have a lot of commenters and i have no idea who is actually reading it, so that's kinda strange. i definitely like lj for the friend aspect. even though i've been quiet, i've been reading.
i'm just exhausted this week. not only have i discovered that i resent bedtime, i REALLY resent having to wake up numerous times throughout the night. and i REALLY REALLY resent having to wake up before 6am! god.
lasy night jiro was SREAMING in the way that you just know they are screaming to be screaming and just can't stop. my solution? to scream louder. nice, huh? once he stopped i beagn my sleep lecture: "Look guys. Sleeping is good. Sleeping is nice. Sleeping is healthy. There is no reason to fight it. Sleeping is not something to cry about. Sleeping is wonderful." I think Satchel actually took it to heart.
BUt dang, he wet the bed for the second night in a row last night! after not wetting for MONTHS! why?? ugh. so he was up early early again and everything was a tantrum. so i said, "If you keep crying, I'm going to cry and then you'll really be in for a treat!" he was crying saying, "I'm tired! I'm tired!" and i was like "Dude, you don't know tired! I'm tired!!" and later "Well don't freaking wet the bed and then wake me and jiro up before the sun comes up!"

I'm wearing a fairly cute skirt today. It's white with some embroidered flowers. white! (satchel wanted cheetoes this morning and i was like "do not come near me with your orange fingers or your orange lips!!") I went shopping for two hours on monday. I like skirts b/c i can wear a size smaller than i can in pants! But also because the one thing getting pregnant did not alter was my legs. i have decent legs left over from my 12 year soccer career. anyway, depending on what mirror i look in, i feel kinda cute. i actually bought 3 skirts. and a tight shirt. !!
oh i wanted to let yall know that my brother is a genius. he recreated a baskin robbins ice cream pie and left it in my freezer! i was so amazed. i mean, i thought you had to have a special machine to cold the ice cream in the pan or something!
