ok salon.com is doing this weekly column on technological items that people love. so far they've done the Dirt Devil and a Garlic Press. i reworked my old essay "Machinery I Have Loved" but feel like it needs to be hipper before I actually send it to salon.com

and before 10 thousand people come behind me to indirectly disagree with me and suck you off, what I mean is that your writing has so much more clarity now and you have been working on lyric, that I think that you should just burn this down and start again.
