(no subject)
1. not ljing on the weekends makes monday vvv hard. esp when you come into your office on monday and your computer is on the floor in your old office and your desk is 3 floors down in your new office.
2. i think i should start publishing under the name "Aley" (staleyg minus the "st") so i can be the next Ariel, Ayun, or Andi.
3. i started laying out the zine last night and everything is great. am vvv excited. gotta get some photoshop action going with dh when he gets back in town and also beg him to do the cover. parterapartera are we still on for your girly girl essay? i have a gay son, tomboy, and boy boy essay so i am desperately in want of a girly girl essay. lemme know, even if it is to say NO, k?
4. literary mama maybe wants one of my essays, but per their usual style (or so i hear) they want me to do some revisions before they show the SENIOR editor. so a maybe is better than the big fat NO i got last month.
5. other than that i was excited to finally get my hipmama--i loved being among friends! china, jen a...very cool. i also got my natural parenting (an australia mag) with my essay from way back when on trying to raise a vegetarian. oh it is funny in retrospect!
6. got my period 4 days early. what does that mean? just last month i was marvelling at my perfect 28 dayness.
