what is application octet stream?
for some reason my fertileground acct turns all attachments into this when i save them on my hard drive. then they are unreadable. wtf? if i forward the attachment to a different email acct i can open it just fine.
any clue what i might be doing wrong? (i've also gotten emails from other people who thought they were sending me a jpeg but it was an octet stream. AND i noticed that some spam action i'm getting is octet stream.)
