ART HAS CHANGED.

Art has changed.
It's not about self-expression, or ideologies.
It's not even about composition, technique, or design.
It's an endless series of work-for-hire jobs,
fought by freelancers and desperately hopeless art students.
Art, and its vast consumption of paper,
has become a rational, well-oiled business transaction.
Art has changed.
SCAD soldiers carry ID-tagged cards, use ID-tagged Wacom styluses.
Antidepressants inside their bodies enhance and regulate their actions.
Wrist control.. Pressure control..
Pigment control.. Self control..
Everything is monitored and kept under control.
The age of abstract expressionism is now the age of control,
averting catastrophe from splattered media.
And he who controls the paint, controls history.
Art has changed.
