jolted back into life
We didn't want to come home! Our vacation was so outstanding- we could have stayed much longer than 9 days! Its blogged on blogger.com (user khrises), complete with pictures- we should be doing the final entry tonight.
Anyway- back to draggin' the line. Can't wait for the day to begin. Argh! I am so frustrated with work but that's old news I suppose. :-)
We went to buttonwood on saturday night to see the girls; heather and matt were at a wedding- so carla was playing grandma for the night. We told her (and shelly) about the impending wedding- and shelly made a wonderful offer to us: to use the Estate in bethel as the site! We are seriously considering it- I would love to have it there! Between the orchards and the guest buildings is where the tent would go, I expect. If we do it there, I would not rea"ly have to start hunkering down and planning until the winter, since finding a site is always the hardest (and has to be done 12+ months in advance).and we are rapidly approaching that mark- since we are hoping to get married in early september 2008.
We saw G Love on friday night on vacay, and it was actually a borderline crappy show- but to make up for that, we are going tomorrow night in central park! Oh I hope tristan prettyman is there with him!!! And hopefully we won't get into a fight with 15 year old girls again. That was terrible, yet a perfect example of the youth today- they just don't give a shit.
Steph and jill- are you back at school?? If so- good luck on a new school year!!!
