Background:
To get the main idea of the plot out of the way,
wiki dat. And there's
some basics on who the Stakes in general are.
Umineko sadly has crap wiki pages, so lemme explain a bit more-- Mammon's not much of a major character so this won't be long. Anyway, in each episode all the Stakes basically partake in following out the Epitaph and killing everyone on the island. Up until episode four anyway, where in the future (in the year 1998, to be precise) the Stakes are summoned by Lady MARIA so they can accompany Ange through her harsh times in the academy she attends, as well as strengthen her magic ability. However because it starts off weak, Ange is only able to summon only one of the sisters: Mammon. It doesn't take long before the two become close. Eventually Ange is able to summon all seven sisters at once, but Mammon seems to be the one Ange is closest with.
Until, one day during classes, Ange is tormented by her peers enough to where she snaps and orders the sisters to kill all of them. Unfortunately, they can't; Furniture is only as powerful as their master, and Ange had yet to get to the point where she could dirty her own hands in blood. And this... upsets Ange a lot, deeming them as nothing more than imaginary friends who won't ever be able to truly help her. And so, she denies their existence one by one, "killing" them off in the real world, until only Mammon is left. Mammon tries to calm Ange down, buuut that doesn't get her very far, and so, she pretty much accepts her fate of being thrown away and is "killed" off herself.
It isn't until years later as Ange is trying to figure out the truths behind the Rokkenjima murders where she accepts magic again, and becomes reunited with the seven sisters; Mammon is, naturally, the first to be revived and insists Ange push herself so that all of them can be together again. And it happens! And they all accompany her to Rokkenjima where Ange's tyrant of an aunt persues her, and theeeen after pushing her to the edge again, Ange orders the sisters to kill her aunt and the lackeys with her. This time, they're able to. Yaaaay.
After that Mammon and the rest of them just go back to being the servanty things they are and don't do a whole lot. Alas. There isn't much of an explanation on how time correlates between the Meta World/Rokkenjima of 1986 and the year 1998, but given how a few scenes in the story went, we can assume that (somehow???) no one's really treated as two different beings with different memories, and that they somehow all come and flow together. Who knows, but nobody ever claimed the series made much sense in the first place, so!
Personality:
As the Stake who rules the sin greed, Mammon is without a doubt definitely pretty greedy. She tends to want a lot of things, no matter what it may be, whether it's a materialistic item or not. The latter, more notably, would be a thirst for knowledge; Mammon openly states that she loves practicing something and working hard for certain information because it pleasures her in knowing she has certain knowledge and wisdom that someone else doesn't. It seems to be unlike her, or so Ange says, but Mammon would spend time reading over Ange's shoulder just to acquire the information as well. With this, one could presume she is at least a bit of a hard worker, but only for her sake.
Like the rest of the Sisters, Mammon is no different when it comes to being lively. All extremely noisy, she too partakes in whatever hijinks or pranks occur-- even if they, for the most part, tend to be cruel. After all, she's a devious being, so they all tend to laugh at each other's misfortunes, no matter how big or small it may be. When it comes to death or killing, it's simply a subject to brag about; if anything, they take nothing but pride in what they do and who they serve, and they'll surely let you know as much without any hesitation. They were made to serve, and to be used is their greatest pleasure and honor, all of them would say, no matter what the task may be-- even if it's to simply be tossed aside and thrown away.
General sister-like things aside, it's said that Mammon, out of all of them, is the most honest about her feelings; this can be pretty easily regarded as true considering Mammon was always very open about herself around Ange. Mostly, it was just openly admitting to wanting something because she's greedy, but she was fairly genuine in her more friendly side. She was considered Ange's first and best friend, always by her side trying her hardest to make Ange's life happier (even if she claims it's because she personally wants to see Ange happy for herself, all the sisters together seem worried for their masters' well being). Mammon would encourage her when she was down, or attempt to block her from fellow classmates' jeering, and with the rest of the Sisters spend her time playing with her. Even though they were demons meant to kill, it seemed Mammon was, in a way, a good being who only wanted the best for whoever was her master.
Specialties/Abilities:
Mammon is, quite literally, a stake; her human form is very likely just a personification of her weapon self. At any rate, like the rest of the Sisters, her usual task is simply to kill by means of stabbing. They're all able to bounce around at extremely fast speeds, and can hit their designated mark without fail for a one-hit instant kill, provided the target in question has committed the sin (in Mammon's case, this will be greed). Whoever is their master (such as the likes of Beatrice or Battler) or anyone who is aligned with the Mariage Sorcière (such as Maria, or by association Ange) can summon any of the Sisters no matter where they're at, although normal humans cannot normally actually see them due to anti-magic 'toxins' (for the sake of the RP, though, everyone can see Mammon). In her human form, Mammon is able to use the Lotus Blade, something most Furniture is capable of using. She is still quick, but certainly not invincible, while in this form.
Affection:
As stated above, Mammon's open to pretty much anything. She'll probably try to please anyone she gets especially close with as much as she can.
Fighting:
Sure, if the situation calls for it. She isn't impossible to kill, but if you're a normal human being you're going to have one hell of a time trying to do so. Chances are, though, Mammon will only do so if she's ordered to.
