2024 Film, TV, Music, and Gaming Faves
As is the annual tradition (since 2009 in at least a vaguely co-ordinated fashion), my favourite films, TV, music, and games from the past 12 months. I'm keeping things short and sweet this year, mostly because I can't be bothered to write too much.
Films
110 watched, and a surprising 60 of which are from 2024. Narrowing the filter further, 2024 films that scored a 5/5 are Dune: Part Two, Furiosa, and The Contestant.
TV
53 seasons watched. Those getting a 5/5 from 2024 are Bad Monkey and One Hundred Years of Solitude. An honourable mention for Pantheon, season two of which is a late 2023 entry.
Music
Over 100 tracks on the 2024 favourited playlist. Favourite albums are Charli xcx's BRAT, Kneecap's Fine Art, The Fauns' How Lost, The Cure's Songs of a Lost World, and Underworld's Strawberry Hotel.
Games
Only 9 games on the list, although I suspect I played more, factoring in Quest games. Those getting a 5/5 are Arizona Sunshine 2, Half Life: Alyx, and Planet Crafter.
