360 (2011). Directed by Fernando Meirelles. The film starts with two sisters in Vienna. One of the sisters gets a photo portfolio so she can be a high class prostitute, much to the resigned disgust of her other sister. The sister then arranges to meet her first client, who doesn't manage to meet her due to some issues with a business deal. 360 is one of those films which takes a number of stories and intertwines them. It doesn't do as good a job as similar films though, and although some of the subplots are a hit, some are definitely a miss. There's a mish mash of fairly unpleasant topics as well, aside from prostitution, there's the mob, and sex offenders. The film isn't particularly violent though, and there's only a bit of nudity. Oddly there's some big names in the cast, including Jude Law and Anthony Hopkins. If you like a bit of drama and are stuck for something to watch then it might be worth a try. 3/5 (Average)
