Film Review: I Saw the Devil (2010)
I Saw the Devil (2010). Directed by Kim Ji-woon. Set in South Korea, the film starts with a women that has broken down at night on a snow covered road. A man stops to help, while she's on the phone to her husband. The husband recommends she locks her doors, tells the man she doesn't need any help, and waits for the recovery company. Moments later the man smashes the windscreen and attacks her. There's not a lot to say about I Saw the Devil. For me it was just brutal horror with a thin story attached. Those that enjoy this sort of thing may want to give it a whirl, but it wasn't for me. 2/5 (Poor)
