Triangle (2009). Written and directed by Christopher Smith. The film starts with Jess (Melissa George) meeting up with some distant friends for a trip on a yacht. A peculiar storm capsizes the boat, and one of the friends is lost. Then by chance a ship passes by, and they manage to climb onboard. They cannot find anyone on the ship, at least to begin with. Triangle is an odd tale, treading a fine line between mystery, psychological thriller, and horror. I felt the film was well directed, and George was excellent. This certainly isn't a film for the easily confused and/or those who like their stories tied off neatly, without giving away too much of the plot. It's also a little slow paced at times, so also not for people who dislike that. I found the end a little frustrating, but thought the rest was atmospheric and enjoyable. 4/5 (Good)
