Twas a rough night with Amélie. Presumably she was feeling pain and/or irritation from the chickenpox, so she didn't go to bed until 10pm. Then she woke up in floods of tears every 2-3 hours. We tried giving her Calpol and Piriton, but she wouldn't take much of either as per usual. The Eurax cream seems to be working as she isn't scratching much (thanks annika_j).
By this morning most of the spots on her body seem to have scabbed over. A few on her face have scabs, and there's a couple of very big spots on her chin, and another on her eyebrow. I don't think she has scratched those on her face much, but the two on her chin are subject to the drool effect.
After lunch Lu needed a break, so I took Amélie for a walk in Yateley Heath Wood. She fell asleep for half an hour or so, but woke up while I was still walking.
And that was pretty much it for today, it's been somewhat relaxing.
