In public news...

Some random thoughts...

I've not found anywhere I like the look of, in terms of European beach resorts, so it's going to be a staycation, in that we'll stay at home and just go on daily visits somewhere. Not such a bad idea, as I'm less wealthy than I thought, after some refined accounting. Other than Marwell Zoo though I'm ( Read more... )

Finn got rather fat a couple of months ago, he's burnt it off tearing around though. He's also gotten very long, and gone from the 25th centile to higher than the 80th. 23lbs yesterday!

Yes, Finn has an odd coughy laugh. Sounds almost like a sarcastic laugh.

For days out try Becksonscott maybe? Never been there but I'm planning to.

I guess they change so rapidly it's pointless worrying. I can just imagine once she gets mobile it will burn off those chunky chicken legs :-)

Thanks for the tip! Will check out Beckonscott.

If she looks chubbier she's probably about to get longer. All my kids have done that, they'll suddenly look chunky, then the next week they're not as chunky but an inch taller instead. Also, if she's not moving yet, once she is, she will burn off a lot. Babies that young can't be fat (as long as you're not feeding them chips or something ridiculous of course!).

She does seem to be lengthening, so that makes sense. Hopefully she'll stretch it out :-)

I recommend you hang on to your money, esp if you're nervous about your work situation. Heh, you can always count on my being consistent with my suggestions. :)

I listen to audio books all the time! It's especially great since I can borrow them off my local library for FREE. I've recently listened to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, both by Stieg Larsson. I am currently listening to the last and final book of the same series.

Do not worry about your baby's fat! Fat babies are healthy babies and she'll grow out of it once she's moving about.

Perhaps if you'd start giving her toddler veggies, that might help with the constipation. That and water ..

Damn you and your common sense! ;-)

You probably saw that I watched the films of the Larsson books. All excellent.

She does get a fair few veggies and water, but still no dice :-(
