Traditional Animation and Lion King 3D
With Lion King 3d coming out this friday one of the animators who worked on Simba is posting some old Lion King animation sketched on his Deviant art account each day. I'm thrilled- I love seeing the sketches and roughs even more than I do watching the finished product.Here's her DA for anyone interested
He also posted a rough of Rutt and Tuke he worked on from Brother Bear:
I love it! Traditional animation still makes me stare in awe. (Animating those antlers and all that secondary action, yikes!!)
I will be going mad this week I'm afraid... Waiting, LK 3D, Chloe's artwork and her hinting at a fun announcement, trying to finish artwork, and trying to get as much done on thesis AND somehow working in running and strength training (which for the past two weeks has faltered)... Yeah, so going to be wired.
