Roller Derby
Tonight I went to roller derby. Oh boy am I sore! It was fun but it wasn't at all like I was expecting. I think there were fewer people than usual there - in fact it was mostly kids from the juniors. I was the only person there (other than the woman in charge) who wasn't still in school! So I didn't really want to check them and they mostly left me contact-free (apart from one kid I suspect is autistic who kept deliberately going after me).
But anyways. It was fun and I'll give it more of a chance but if it's mostly kids all the time I don't think I'll bother since I'm hardly going to make friends which is mostly my aim in joining teams. Plus so much pain vs softball.
Speaking of softball I get to play in the first league game of the season on Tuesday since there's injury trouble - hope I'm not as stiff as I feel right now.
