I think I am finally satisfied with my computer for a litle while at least.

This is why:

- AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (1.83) Barton core, 512k L2 cache overclocked ON STOCK VOLTAGE AND A VOLCANO 6+ CU to 3200+ (2.2 gHz)
- ASUS A7N8X Deluxe MoBo
- ATI Radeon 9800 non-pro, bios flashed and overclocked to 436.88 mHz core and 366.33 mHz DDR Memory
- 512 MB Corsair Twinx matched memory pair. I can run some really, really tight latency with this. It is sitting at stock 400 mHz right now, but should handle another 100 mHz when I start pushing the voltage.
- 60 GB 7200 ATA 133 Western Digital Caviar 8 MB cache for the OS (5 GB Partition), Swap (2 GB Partition) and programs (everything else)
- 160 GB Seagate SATA (Soon to be two, in striped RAID) for mp3 and movie storage.
- Slot load Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM drive
- 40/12/40A Plexwriter CD-RW
- 4X LG Super Multi DVD Burner
- ATI TV Wonder

- Microsoft Natural Multimedia Keyboard
- Logitech MX500 Optical Mouse
- Altec Lansing 4.1 speakers
- Logitech Wingman Force 3D Joystick
- Logitech Wingman Rumblepad Gamepad
- Logitech MOMO Racing wheel (For Grand Prix Legends :P)

I am running over 6000 3dMark 2003 points as of now. I am ordering a custom heatpipe cooling system for the videocard, and that should give me another 100 mHz out of the Radeon. The CPU heatsink is also pretty dated. I want to get one of those gigantic Thermalright copper ones to replace. I am afraid to raise my FSB too much until I can find a decent northbridge cooling alternative. I couldn't get a pre-week 40 CPU, so the multiplier is locked no matter what I do. I might go and pick up a 2600+ Mobile though. They run stock at 1.45 volts, which should give me a whole lot of headroom to crank the power.
