(no subject)
Alright - I'm addicted to drawing seabirds at the moment. O_o Already did some boobies and finshed the classicl "Albatross/Robin" bit today, and I'm working on a face study of a gannet... and I might do a storm petrel, since they pop up often in the books.
So, last night I got up to the part where Jack and Pullings are examining the wooden boat Naggie carved for them.
Some observations:
-There are lots of 'butt shots'. *yum*
-I prefer 'my' Blakeney to 'movie' Blakeney.
-I kept laughing throughout the movie... I have no idea why... Everything just seemed funny to me... I might be just going crazy
-Okay, you know the part when the Marine 'beats to quarters' on his drum in the begining? Well, the drum roll sounds like the opening drums to the classic surfer song, "Wipe Out". So, through the entire beat to quarters scene, I'm laughing my heart out and have the "Wipe Out" song streaming through my head.... XD
-I still can't watch the amuptation scene
