Off I Go

Well here I sit at the Philadelphia Airport.... off to Germany I go. :) I think this will be a good experience for me. My military record is no exception to my constant strive for success... I graduated at the top of my basic training class... (Soldier Leader of the Cycle) ... and now, as of Tuesday of this week, I have graduated at the top of my AIT class (Distinguished Honor Graduate). I've received other awards already also... but those are the main two. So yeah.... one award is for being the most capable in a tactical environment (the most able to lead troops into battle and kick hagee's ass)... the other is for being the most capable on an academic level... I guess that makes me well rounded? ..haha... but yeah... enough about all of that. GERMANY! I should be arriving in Frankfort in about 19 hours or something. So that's cool. Goodbye US... Goodbye family, friends, memories, etc... I still don't have a for-sure assignment on when I'm getting deployed to the sand box... but I know it's soon. Out of the 2-3 years I'm in Germany 6-18 months will be spent in the desert. FUN FUN! But I don't care. Life is what we make of it. I've learned alot over the last year or so... Alot about family, responsibility, maturity, business, and life. Overall... The events in my life, and the decisions I've made have made me a better person. A stronger person. Even more driven, more goal oriented. But also, more strategic. More organized. More focused. Over the course of the next ten years... my life will transition into something far different from where I stand currently. I'm ready for it... I'm following a planned set of events that I've set before myself... So far, it's working quite nicely! I've paid off all of my debt (about $7,000 in about 3 months time) I know, I know... not alot of debt.... but enough to annoy my wallet. But not anymore. Thanks to proper budgeting and following my little event list... milestone 1 is complete... now onto the many others that await.

Take care everyone.

I'll do my best to continue writing here from Germany and Iraq.
