today was GLSEN's day of silence, and i participated.
while holding up my sign, i/my group of people got called "a bunch of fags" on campus.
don't even blame this shit on living in texas... i expect that shit, ya know? what i DON'T expect is to be called a fag by someone that looks like they could easily be targeted as a terrorist, ya know what i'm saying? but the day before, they had the nerve to protest while basically saying "we're not terrorists." (something like "islam is a religion of peace." note that i'm not disagreeing with that, but do take note that i'd prefer not to be called out of my name EVER, especially on campus, yeah?)
hate to tell you, bro... but i think given a choice... they'd wipe us BOTH out.
