look, i know the chick wants the charges to be dismissed. i know she just wants it all to be over. the crux of the matter? roman polanski committed a crime, to which he pled guilty. then he fled the fucking country. she forgave him. that's great! A+! but what about justice? justice has its own price. justice may forgive, but it doesn't forget. the moment polanski entered a guilty plea, the wheels of justice should have been doing a burnout. instead, they were stopped and stopped for years.
