Vacation Update #1
OK so i finally broke down and paid for wireless internet for the week, because i had really no other option. What happened to coffee houses having free wireless. I mean i used to see it all the time, now when ever you go into one it's always you have to have a paid account. But any way I am sure some of you are remotely interested in how my vacation is going...
OK let me just say that if my brother was not hear my batteries would be about half charged of good constant charging. But alas he is here and well lets just say that my batteries have been charging, only to be zapped by him and his emotional hold on the rest of my family. I really try not to let it get to me but, it s just so overwhelming, you have to be here to understand.
On another note i have been trying to get away from everyone at some points, which has been rewarding. Going to the beach by myslelf has been a good thing. Monday i went and just walked on the board walk (33 block of it) and just tried to take in everything. Yesterday, i went and laid on the beach for about an hour (without suntan lotion) as you guessed it i got a little burnt, but you know what i didnt mind it at all, in a sorta weird sorta way it was really cool.
Today I plan on going shopping today or something like that just to free myself up and get food i guess, cause there is nothing here to eat.
Oh, another update on the youth pastor thing. The guy that I talked to first called me yesterday and asked if anyone had gotten back with me. I told him no, and i think it really bothered him, so he said that he would make sure someone would call me this week. Well i think he totally kicked someone in the face cause i got a call the next day from the other guy i was trying to get a call from. the only thing about it was that i wasen't around to answer it. But he left a message about planning a interview. Also i ask the other guy when was the church he is moving to thinking about hiring someone and he said that they are just waiting to see if this one hires me or not, so it sounds like i may have a job in the church soon, either in a Methodist church or the Presbyterian church (which i know very little about).
Well hope everything gets me going and charged by the end of the week. Love you guys. Oh and to the person that called me and wished me a good trip, my phone sorta deleted some of your message and i didnt really catch your name or recognize your "phone" voice, but thanx for the call.
