He was currently staring out the window at the rainy night and all he could think of was Max and how he found himself missing her. She had left for Portland a week ago on a wild goose chase for one of her siblings.
“Hey stranger.”
He turned at the sound of her voice and greeted her with a smile. She moved closer to him, almost unsure of what her welcome would be.
“I missed you,” Logan replied.
“I missed you too,” Max replied as she stood beside him.
It wasn’t much but he knew that their relationship had changed.
