"Well, here we are....beds. The last stop," Mireille announced as she and Kirika stopped.

"...Mireille, what are we now?"

"A couple, don't be silly," Mireille said as she sized up the beds.

Kirika looked at her in surprise.

"What?! Just because I won't sleep with you yet doesn't mean I don't like you. I wouldn't have saved you if I didn't..."

"Love me?" Kirika offered.

"Yeah, that. We'll talk some more after we get home."

"Mireille....um...um...I--"

"I know. You don't have to say it."

"...love you...too," Kirika finished.

Mireille turned back around. "So, beds. Pick out one."

"Why? Ours didn't get shot up."

"I know, but we're at a new beginning. It's symbolic."

*Symbolic, huh?* "That one." Kirika pointed all the way across the section.

"But that's a twin."

"And?"

"It's too small. We'd have to cling to each other to fit."

"I know."

Mireille shook her head and half-smiled. "You're devious." She walked over to the bed and called for someone to arrange its delivery.
