"Fusoooo-eepy," he said.
"Me too," Crawford said. "You work too hard."
"You're saying that to me?" Schuldig grinned. "Don't let the others hear, you'll spoil your image." He yawned again, heading for their room. "I'm going to bed."
He wasn't surprised when the mattress dipped under Crawford's weight and then there was a warm body next to him.
"Waited till I got the bed cosy, huh?"
"Yeah. Sleep. We have to Takatori-sit later."
Schuldig grinned and burrowed comfortably closer, sinking into a pleasurable haze of sleep.
Mass murder really did take it out of a guy.
