Confession
The red-headed boy looked up from where he sat and saw the one person who had always been loyal to him: the one person who had always had his back. “You what?”
Soft and sweet brown eyes looked down at him, framed by dark blond hair. “You heard me.”
Kasanoda stood up and brushed his hands on the pants of his uniform. “I heard you, but I don’t think I understand. I’m a boy. You’re a boy…”
“Didn’t stop you from being attracted to Fujioka, did it? Just…trust me. I’ve always been there for you, and you’ve been there for me.” Slim hands reached up and unwound his hair tie. Tetsuya shook his head and long hair fell gracefully over slim shoulders. “Does this help me, or hinder? Ritsu, I’ve been waiting, ever since the first day I saw you…I don’t know how much more I can take.”
Kasanoda looked at his best friend. Same green pants and shirt…same gold cuffs in the left ear. Tetsuya didn’t look any less male than he did when that thick hair was up and away. He found himself shaking his head and smiling. Maybe he could do this, if only for Tetsuya’s sake.
