Everybody else doubts. They say Zidane isn't coming back. But Blank knows. He knows that somewhere Zidane's coming back. And he waits for him, even if Zidane is really going straight into the arms of a princess, Blank will wait because that's what he feels is right.
He does his best to get Zidane back to Garnet. That's his way of saying I love you one more time.
Zidane seems to get it. He meets his eyes and grins. That grin of his. "Thanks," he says, quietly, "for everything," and, "sorry," and then, "bye."
And Blank lets him go. Because he loves him.
