But it is there. Just as she occasionally can see the spirits of others, she can see him with his stark white glow, his spirit so obvious.
However, the fact that his spirit is so accessible to her isn’t most shocking. It flickers. It grows in her presence and becomes a lulling, comforting glow that seems to reach for her.
It is a feeling she enjoys more each time such that when he finally approaches her with that particular expression, she pays no heed to the gasps of her friends.
