A/N: It wasn't what she'd planned. Really not so much a fight..but a discussion. =)
It had slipped out before Abby could stop herself. Her mind wasn't working well at that moment and she was otherwise occupied with what Gibbs was doing to her. She'd opened her mouth and the wrong thing had slipped past her lips.
Not that she didn't mean it. Abby felt certain that she did in fact love him. To be even more honest she was fairly certain she was in love with him. They had let this thing between them run its course, any way it wanted. And now she was tasting the red toe nail polish on her foot.
Abby opened her eyes slowly, blinking up at Gibbs. He had paused and was now staring down at her. He dropped down to his elbows bringing his face closer to hers.
"I really love Twinkies," she said suddenly.
Gibbs raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
"I was just having a random thought," she rambled. "You know, just my mind wandering for like half a second and it sorta just rambled out."
"Your mind was wandering? Right now?"
She glanced down and sighed. "Yes. I mean no! It was like a half a sec-"
"Why didn't you just say 'I love Twinkies'? You just said 'I love you'. Is there a Twinkie fantasy you haven't shared with me?"
"No. Gibbs that's gross. Can we talk about this later?"
His eyes flickered over her face. Abby's eyes were everywhere but his eyes and she looked very nervous.
"You love me Abs?"
Her eyes darted back to his. "Yeah Gibbs. Of course."
He smiled. "You know what I mean, Abby."
She swallowed loudly. "Yeah. I think I do."
"You think?" he asked. "If you think then you don't know."
"Ok! I love you. I do. But don't make a big deal out of this and let's just move on. Finish what we had going on here."
He smiled as she covered her face with her hands. She really didn't want to be doing this right now. Here they were in the middle of great sex debating whether or not she loved him. Hopefully this would be the closest to fighting they'd come to.
He leaned down and pressed his lips to her ear. "I think I like that idea."
"You think? Maybe you don't know."
He laughed. "I know."
