Jude would just smile up at him before saying “I don’t care,” or “It doesn’t really matter anymore, does it?”
He would frown and sit down beside her saying “of course it does” and then “I would’ve liked to have done it right.”
She would lean against him and run her fingers over his, thinking of other things, other places. Since Jude had never been the sentimental type. At least she hadn’t been until she met Tommy.
