I really like your Fuji the way you've set him up, though -- and this is utterly pointless and has absolutely nothing to do with anything except you asked abour your Fuji -- I can see that how we look at Fuji (or rather, how we characterize him, 'cos I can't really get into your head) is rather... different? I find it interesting that you write Fuji as a sort of reflection of how he sees other people, because I've always felt inclined to bounce Fuji off how others see him. ... from his point of view. Because that makes sense. Right. Just a random note. Anywho. Actual fic comment!
I like how you have Tezuka acting as some sort of irrevocable, irresistible force: because you really can't say no to Tezuka, no matter how much you may want to at first -- like in canon, how Echizen eventually bends and actually puts some heart into becoming Seigaku's pillar, and how Fuji eventually starts playing seriously despite telling Tezuka earlier that he can't

Ah! Thank you. Um, I think your Fuji is a mystery...especially how he thinks...he's like um...Mrs. Darling from Peter Pan...has a secret kiss in the corner of his mouth. *is a compliment*
I do see him as this force, although I prefer my way of writing it because it doesn't include the solar system or dinosaurs.
I'm going to have to set up a shrine and worship you.
I LOVE this piece very much. Reading this - Fuji's thoughts and feelings, if I hadn't already been in love with Tezuka, I would be. Very vivid and compelling. I can't say enough for it.

Tezuka is God, at least Fuji's God.
I really appreciate it.

Yes, in this universe I'm writing, Tezuka very much owns Fuji. It's heavily inspired by the chat in the rain.
Fuji allows this because he can own a part of Tezuka that no one else can.
