When they met, they felt only confusion. One was lost in a new wealth of knowledge; the other was already deep within her own world. Only a gene brought them together.
But the first time they see each other, something’s different. She sees him smile down at her, nodding appreciatively from the balcony, he sees her grin, hold up a bottle of champagne. But for them both, there is a spark, a single spark that soon becomes a roaring blaze.
He sees a great leader. She sees a good soldier.
First impressions are only a foundation.
