Sorry this is late, I was doing unavoidable busybusy stuff. ♥
They're stood in front of Yunalesca now, and that's it, that's the end, Jecht will be gone and then Braska and Auron never thought he'd be able to say something broke his heart but this will. He wants to say he'll do it, he'll do it instead, but Jecht has decided and he won't challenge that strength.
"I love you," Auron blurts, into the heavy silence, and Jecht turns.
"I know," he says, in that gruff voice. He holds Auron's eyes for a minute and then looks at Braska, and now they all know that Auron's words go for all of them.
