Apr 14, 2006 19:50

Title: Listen to the Sight
Author: iniq
Theme: Exploration of a Relationship Through The Five Senses
Fandom: Less Than Zero (Bret Easton Ellis, 1985)
Pairing: Clay Easton/Julian Wells
Rating: R
Notes: Not quite the book style anymore, I'm afraid.

Smell

Julian smells clean nowadays. He used to smell of sex and sweat and Finn and perfume and money. He used to smell of green dollar bills and cheap motel rooms, but no longer. He smells of that soap he likes to use after sex, of hair shampoo and sometimes of my cologne when he wants to be fancy. Sometimes he smells of coffee, or like expensive sun screen. He smells of the beach when I take him there - or of L.A. when he's been in the city. But he always smells clean nowadays. Sometimes I wish he'd smell dirty.
