I'd been avoiding it for so long that it swept me away when I finally gave in to it -- when I gave in to him. He wrapped his arms around me tight and kissed me hard and though I'd always responded, though he'd always drawn the response he wanted from me, I kissed back with a new passion.
It got easier to give in to it once I accepted myself and him and what we had between us.
