"Hey," Nathan greeted his lover.
"Alright," Jones replied, sitting down next to him on the couch.
They had found together again. Jones had gotten better at communicating, Nathan had calmed down more. They worked together now. They fit. Even Dan had reluctantly agreed that this was something good. Claire had stopped calling three times a week to make sure they were both still alive.
Jones rested his head in Nathan's lap and mumbled about his day. Nathan didn't need to listen to hear what Jones was saying. It had gone alright. He was back home now, where he was happy.
