(no subject)
Last night, to celebrate my friends birthday, we went to CBGBs. It was so freaking cool. Every inch of the place was covered with stickers from bands and posters from shows, and you just stand there looking at the stage and think holy crap, like so many incredibly famous bands had their start on that stage... it was cool. We're definately going back.
I think it's funny that in preparing to go out, I personally had a bit of a dressing crisis. Now I'm not the most conservative person in the world, but I tend to drift towards courdouroy pants and argyle sweaters. In preparing to go out I had to craft an outfit out of graphic Ts and black shirts and black belts and Connies. An in the end, after getting there, I realized it completely didn't matter and if I wanted to come ass naked it would have been fine. And that was a really cool concept.
So.... assloads of snow today. 14-20 inches, they say. Thank God I don't have to shovel.
