So, me and Battlestar Galactica? We have this thing going on. We have these horrible, rotten fights where I'm all, "if the next episode isn't amazing, I am TOTALLY BREAKING UP WITH YOU!" And then it's like, "that's fair. *amazing episode*", and I'm all, "I'm sorry we fought! *make-up sex*".
That's kind of what tonight was like for me.
In other news, I have made two very important decisions:
a) I will be staying at UConn an extra semester.
b) I will be attending the best gorram grad school I can get into and I will be studying international relations so that I might kick ass in the foreign service.
In even more other news, I attended a Connecticut Supreme Court hearing on Tuesday and it was fucking amazing. One of the Justices actually uttered the words, "well, you'd have to ask the dog, wouldn't you?" It made me happy in my soul.
On a less positive note, I've been working on a ridiculous argument paper concerning Edmund Burke for about a week now and it kind of makes me want to shoot myself. Thankfully, there are other things in my life (such as the CT SC hearing) that are reminding me that it is, indeed, good to be alive. So...woo. Besides, Samhain is approaching, and I'm beginning to develop what I think is a pretty good idea of how to construct the impending ritual. *dance*
I can never think of how to end these things. Or anything, for that matter; I'm positively rotten at good-byes. I wonder what that says about me?
