Cue: Warning for New Journal... Cue: Stand By for New Journal...GO!

Greeings and welcome to my new Livejournal Page. I've decided to rejoin again, though more as a way to keep up with friends new and old because of the hecticness of my schedule.

Before I begin, for those new readers who wish to meander through the words I write upon this online template, it would be wise to load in and set the stage for the show that is my life with a brief introduction. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay working towards my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Technology and Design, with a minor in Arts Management and possibly a double minor in German Language and Culture. I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies. I work part time as a stagehand for the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts and the University Theatre on campus. One day, after I finish my degree I intend to move to New York City and pursue a Technical Theatre job in one of the many venues the city has to offer. As for my inner self, I tend to find humour in most things and
situations, especially humour that can be classified as inappropriately dark. I shall end this now, as you, dear reader, shall get to know me by reading the life chapters I update as time will go on,

Today has been so far a good day. I awoke feeling better after a terrible headache yesterday and made it to school with plenty of time to put the finishing touches on my project for Theatre Design. Professor M came in and was laughing at everyone scurrying toward the last minute, then proceeded to remind us that the project was not due yet for another week, so take some time on it. Class went by fast as we learned some new painting techniques. I must admit, although my brain shows me beautiful set/light/costume designs, I will probably never be too useful with a pencil and paint as a means of realising the ideas I'm thinking of. As Abe (A fellow classmate and Tech student) said upon the first day of class. "This bullshit *indicating the art pencil set* is not the tool of my trade. THIS (he says as he pulls out his leatherman) is what I use". Even though I am far from good at it, now and then the creative artwork helps me relax and focus, which is something I do not do enough of.

I've decided to take an early day today to read, instead of my usual 9am - 10pm school day, not including the hour commute I make which gets me home between 11:00-11:15pm depending on traffice. I will meet up with my friend Zack and practise some German, then hit the scene shop long enough to clarify my schedule with my boss for the work week then file taxes on the way home. I feel this first entry is long enough, so I shall close now.
