I organize Magic: the Gathering tournaments at the game store where I work, and this last weekend marked the prerelease for the latest set. We ran one (our second prerelease) and got 35 players (our highest turnout) and had what was probably our busiest game room to date. I think things went pretty smoothly: nobody complained about the event itself (or unruly players) to me, and several people thanked me for running it. I just got a wonderful email from my boss, complimenting me on a job well done.

It was a long, exhausting day (I spent a lot of Sunday sleeping) but it was so worth it. I love working at a game store, because it's just so awesome.
