Happy New Year, all.
I went to a party and enjoyed myself, both observing and participating. I confess to being a bit surprised at how much fun I had. I had some neat conversations and talked to some interesting people, many of whom I will likely never see again, but it was good.
Now, I need to get some clothes & diversions together for visiting family over the weekend, and then see if I can get an hour or maybe even three of sleep before setting out on the road. (I will not be driving, so I can sleep in the car.)
