Oh weekend.
Since Saturday was the first Saturday I'd had in a while to do nothing, I did. I caught up on my TiVo, watched movies that I'd been meaning to watch, etc.
Friday night I went out with some work friends to one of their friend's birthday party. Fun. And good to get out. I also managed to get my car (finally) washed.
String cheese is my new favorite snack.
Saturday I happened to check on YouTube to see what the kids from American Juniors were up to. I found Danielle White's channel where she put up her audition video for Spring Awakening. One of my gifts from Jenny's shower last weekend was $50 in iTunes gift cards. So I went to iTunes and bought the album. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I've had "The Dark I Know" stuck in my head all morning.
Sunday I went shopping. I had a couple of gift cards from my birthday so I made an IKEA trip. I got a new desk chair (Thanks Mama Juj and Papa KMac!), new sheets and CURTAINS! Yes. I was finally able to take down the ugly verticals in my room and put up actual curtains. Which...was a struggle. But all the teal in my room is now gone and has been replaced with plum. Now I just need to get the pictures printed up that I got from 10cent and I'll be 60% done.
