I did it.
I found a dog. I adopted him. And I pick him up Thursday. While I realize I'm going out of town in a week, chickengp is being kind enough to watch him for me until I get back. She might face uncertain death when her husband gets back and realizes there another dog there for a couple days, but its a cross she's willing to bare. She's my best friend for a reason.
According to the shelter, he's a labrador retriever/welsh corgi pembroke mix. But I'm going to say he's a mini-Remi. Because he looks EXACTLY like Remi only 1/2 a foot shorter. Kelly is going to take pictures. It'll be like Remi and his lil' buddy.
Which brings me to my next point. I'm looking for name suggestions. The shelter said his name was "Howard" but when I called him that, he didn't respond. So he's getting a new name.
