My last picture in Michigan
Then I went into Indiana
My car was very full
The people of Illinois welcomed me:
Then I saw this:
Before seeing this:
Missouri was very boring and very long. Which is why I was very happy to see:
And Oklahoma was pretty.
I don't know what trees are all over Oklahoma, but I like 'em.
I stopped in Tulsa, OK for the night. The next day, I was on the road for 3 hours before I saw:
Please disregard the giant dead bug smeared across my windshield.
Texas was also very pretty:
I even drove through a Texas thunderstorm.
I drove through Texas for four hours until I saw this:
And you know what? New Mexico was REAL pretty.
Unfortunately for TX Toni Jones, New Mexico isn't so pretty. I found this at a rest stop:
Eventually, I made it to
But it was getting dark in Arizona, and my contacts were very dry. So I was unable to take pictures. But I will say that I drove through many mountains and driving through Navajo country is creepy. You feel like you're intruding and just want to drive as quickly past it as possible.
I stayed in Phoenix at Mark and Tracy's for the night.
The next day, Tracy threw out my laundry basket to make room for herself and we were on our way.
Eventually, we saw this:
And we drove through Palm Springs:
We made it!
The next day Tracy, Rie and I went to the beach at the end of our street.
This is our street:
That night we went to see Anna Nalick and Five for Fighting in concert. It was freezing good times:
Tracy was thrilled to have met me and gotten my autograph.
THE END.
