First of all, let me start this blog off by saying that Stacey and I have made up. It was a stupid fucking arguement, and I don't even know why we had it. We do tend to blow up at each other from time to time, and then it's all water under the bridge. So those of you following along......don't worry, it's over. That was the best Christmas present I could have possibly recieved.
Christmas was great this year. We spent Christmas Eve at Romni's house, helping decorate her tree. It's an annual thing.......she has a bunch of people over to decorate the tree and have hot cocoa and cookies and stuff. It was Romni, Bruce, Sarah, Mia, Mikey, Debbie, Sam, Barbara, Falcon and me and Bobby. Lots of laughs, lots of fun. We got home and watched The Muppets Christmas Carol, and then I went to bed so Bobby could wrap my presents. We woke up around 9 Christmas morning, and went down to unwrap our gifts. I got a Chocolate Fountain (chocolate fondue that flows down three tiers in like a waterfall.....SO cool), the Harry Potter Scene It game, a new Sylvia Browne book, the Dirty Dancing collector's addition, The Excorsism of Emily Rose, a computer game that has 1001 different games in it, socks, a Carebear Christmas Ornament, a new purse, season 2 of Scrubs, a Greenday calendar, and the Cookie Sutra (the Kamah Sutra with illustrations of gingerbread cookies doing the positions, a t-shirt that says "Everyone Loves and Irish Girl", and a Dog the Bounty Hunter tank top. I also got a t-shirt that has a picture of a jingle bell on it that says "Jingle This!" which I didn't like, and caused a huge disagreement between Bobby and I, because I lied and said I liked it. But it just wasn't me.....I'm not a Scrooge, I love Christmas, so it wasn't very "Lizzie" like. And I got two sweaters and matching scarves, and two sets of PJ's from Bobby's mom. Bobby loved all his presents, especially the animatronic Yoda doll. His mom and Adam came for Christmas dinner....we had turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, greenbeans, asparagus, rolls, and cranberry sauce. All very yummy, especially the turkey!!! Then when everyone left, we watched Emmett Otter's Jugband Christmas, and then played the Harry Potter Scene It. The next day, we went to the pain clinic, and then Bobby went shopping with his gift certificate to Best Buy. He got a DVD burner, a new cordless phone, a joystick, headphones, and stuff to clean the computers. So now we can make copies of movies and stuff we Tivo! Oh, and on the 23rd, we went to my Girl Scout reunion, which was a lot of fun. We had Cranapple Martinis, and heavy hors d'ouvres. Very yummy. It was great seeing everyone, and Heather B. brought Joey, her 3 month old baby! I can't believe we have a GS baby! And Heather F. is starting to show.....she's having a girl, so now we'll have a future Girl Scout!!! I just can't wait until it's my turn! Tonight we're having Christmas with my family. My parents are back from NJ (they didn't have a very good time), and my sister in law Isabelle is here. We're having lasagne and exchanging gifts. It should be a lot of fun (fingers crossed....as long as me and my bro don't get into a fight again). So I'll update tomorrow and let you all know how it goes!
