08. Presants
I can't believe I got presents! From Uncle Justin and a couple muggle friends from Chicago too! I wonder why Uncle Justin sent the muggle gifts? I didn't think he liked my friends there. Huh, maybe he's not such a 'bah humbug' like I thought. I wonder where I'm going to find a place to listen to my gifts though.... I know electronics aren't supposed to work in Hogwarts and it's illegal to tamper with them without a permit. I'll have to find the muggle studies teacher or someone and see if they have any CD or tape players.

It's not much, but I love all the presents, even the ones from Uncle Justin. I don't care much about purebloods since I'm not one, but it will be interesting to read about. And this journal IS getting kind of frayed.
Um.... Why did someone send me a crab? I like it, but I have no place to put it. Uncle Justin hasn't given me my monthly allowance yet so I can't buy it anything. What do crabs eat anyway?
It keeps cuddling up to my quill as I write. I'm definitely going to need to get it something to live in.... Um, uh oh.... I think its going to get eaten. The stray cat is staring at it strangely.....
*carefully picks the crab up and sets it safely away from the cat*
