Only read this if you're bored....its about my roadtrip
Got back home from kaslo last night. Soooooo much fun as always. I'm gunna do a photopost in the next coupla days...doubt that anybody's interested but just in case, there will be pics. My Auntie Georgie (the one that looks like Kathryn Zeta Jones and is my dad's bro's wife) was and is REALLY sick and in the hospital in Cranbrook. Which is like 3 hours away from Kaslo. The Kaslo hospital isn't good enough for what she needs. Anyways, it was pretty stressful cause my uncle tom (dad's bro) went to Cranbrook to be with her so we didn't get to see them at all!! And their 4 kids were left parentless. Which is ok cause they're old enough to be mature about it. Kelly is 14, the twin boys are 13 and Elliot is 11. We're all really close surprisingly cause they're so much younger, but they're like my other siblings. My Auntie Patti was there the whole time to help out with the kids and her daughter Tess who is also 13 came the whole time. So they're were all of us 8 cousins together the entire time which rocked. Anyways, we would normally have gone in late august cause thats when the lake is warmest (seeing that it is a glacier lake) but it was my great aunt and uncle's 60th wedding anniversary so we went way earlier than regular. All the old people in the town came to the party, and it was a hell of a lot of decorating to do. My cousin's house is actually the house that my dad grew up in with two sisters and brother. That house is like my real home. We've moved around so much that I don't really feel attached to any house except for that one cause I've gone to it at least once a year for my whole life. Anyways, Kaslo is always a joy. Besides not swimming we basically did everything the same. Acted like kids, played around on the property which is huge, fed the chickens, got ice cream, rented movies on stormy days, played board games and what not. I love it there. I also love the road trips on our way there and back. Always a good time. Anywho...I'll photopost soon. I'm not offended if you don't care, but I just feel like it ok???
