Okay, this weekend has been pretty good. Was a little bummed I missed Sarah's shindig, but no worries, the pics made up for it.
Let me set you up. Been a little stressed since one of my jobs is trying to get rid of me. They want me to help hire someone so they can fire me. For what, I do not know....they won't tell me, so yea. Very happy about that. Been busy putting in apps and looking into health insurance I can afford. Just a little stressed and knees are starting to get to me again. Yaaaaaaay.
So when I found I had the weekend off again thought I could use it for some needed sleep and planning. Had the weekend off since my other boss has noticed how tired I've been the last few days. Feel like I am going to pass out any minute. Mom found out and she decided to come down for Mother's Day.
Sat, while I was still in my pj's my mom shows up. EEEEHHHH?! I get dressed and we hang out on the Downtown Mall. Saw Speed Racer. OMG,the colors, the crazy stunts, the fun. It was great! Screw the critics, they know nothing of entertainment. Movies are supposed to be fun and enjoyed. Stop nitpicking jeez. Going to see it again. Went out and ran into star_angel83 in the Best Buy. Haha. Neat. Mom got me Rome Season 2, so, yay! Hung out at the bookstore after a nummy meal, schooled her on Marvel heroes and compared notes.
Sun, woke up late and drove around, singing boyband songs on full blast. I know where I get my geek from. Went to the comic book shop and got some more stuffs. Yay! I love comic shopping with my mom. She keeps a list. Its adorable. And showing up in a truck tricked out with superman emblems everywhere is not too shabby either.
Found this hole in the wall seafood place and it was nummy. Dropped me off and headed home. Not bad. I am glad she came because I was feeling way bad about things, working it out, just felt alone in it. I am hoping this summer turns out well. Need to make some good memories.
Off to play some video games and think.
