Who's in the kitchen?

Today, I realized I may actually achieve my dream of being a private/personal chef. My friend from work Laila, hooked me up with a friend of hers who was a private/personal chef for about 10 years. He came and talked to me about the business and offered to help me get my resume and will let me practice in the kitchen at his restaurant so I can get my skills back to par. Says I have real potential and that he can help me find clients! Oh man, this is surreal.

Oh man. Now I really have something to look forward to after the geek filled fest that will be New Years. Oh yes. Plans are as followed:

Taking the train up and crashing with mi madre until geekiness descends upon DC. So looking forward to this, so ready to celebrate!
